Portfolio
Take a look at what I have for my portfolio right now.
Company and Learning Modules Creation
For this project, I created a company from scratch and then designed an experience tailored for refinery employees, catering to both new hires and seasoned staff. The goal is to provide a comprehensive and engaging learning journey through various stages of their careers.
Phase 1: Creating the Company from Scratch with AI
| 1. To speed up the process of creating the company, I used a generative AI tool such as ChatGPT. I was able to create the company that includes its portfolio, slogan, and their branding standards. | 2. Once I had the company profile created in ChatGPT, I wanted to export that information to a viewable PPT file. Now that could take a lot of time unless you use AI. I decided to copy and paste the content populated by ChatGPT into a Word file, imported that information within PPT, with the help of Copilot, and had it quickly produce a deck that showcased the company-related content in a matter of minutes. Take a look at the video below. |
Once I had all of the content created for the company, I needed to make the company logo in order to make it official.

With the company established, the next step was to develop a comprehensive learning plan for both operators and engineers. The 360 eLearning module is specifically designed for new hires, while the VR headset training and On-the-Job Training (OJT) will follow a consistent approach for both new and seasoned employees. The content will be tailored to employees’ certification needs, focusing on different sections of the refinery based on their years of employment and individual skill sets. Below is an outline of the training delivery plan for operators and engineers at Titan Refining Solutions.
| Operators & Engineers Years of Employment | Module Delivery |
| 0-1 years | VR walkaround (360 eLearning module) VR (headset) OJT (instructor and checklist within PowerApps) |
| 2+ years | VR (headset) OJT (instructor and checklist within PowerApps) |
Phase 2: AI Avatar video creation and 360 eLearning Course
New employees are required to complete mandatory training before they can set foot on the refinery, often referred to as “boots on the ground.” During this training, employees utilize an online module to familiarize themselves with the refinery layout. To enhance this phase, I developed a 360 eLearning course that functions similarly to virtual home tours, allowing users to “walk through” the refinery in an immersive 360 environment. This interactive experience enables learners to explore the virtual refinery and access additional clickable buttons that provide in-depth information about the components and operations, ensuring they gain a thorough understanding before entering the field.
![]() | After I created the logo it’s time to produce the intro video to the 360 simulations for new operators/engineers. For this intro video and the help video for the simulation I used Colossyan to create the AI avatar video style. I used green as the background for one of the videos so I could take the finished product into Adobe Premiere Pro, remove the background and insert refinery backgrounds. |
Once the two videos were completed, the next step was to gather the necessary assets and begin creating the 360 course. Since I don’t work at a refinery and don’t have access to one for photography, I used AI tools to generate a virtual refinery. Let’s engage our imagination for this part!
| Course Objective: New hires will be able to identify key areas within the refinery. |
This early exposure helps familiarize them with the layout of the refinery while they complete the required training to address potential hazards. The course functions as a virtual walk-through, similar to viewing a home for sale online, giving employees an interactive and informative preview of the refinery.

The course was created within Storyline and there are multiple layers, triggers, and variables used throughout.
Phase 3: VR (headset) Framework
To begin creating the VR procedure for a VR headset, let’s first work on creating a storyboard.
Phase 4: OJT (instructor and checklist within PowerApps)
Video Creation with AI
In this example I used 4 different tools in order to make the final mp4 product.
My process was: ChatGPT -> Kling AI -> Epidemic Sound -> Adobe Premiere Rush
Phase 1 ChatGPT:
For this project I wanted to create an mp4 video and the process I wanted to experiment with involved have including a start image for the video and an ending image to where the video should end. So my vision was to create an action video where a muscular pitbull (aka bodybuilder) would deadlift a barbell.
So for the beginning image I used the following prompt and edited based off of what I was looking for, “Design me a grey haired muscular shredded pitbull that is wearing a silver choker style of collar. He looks determined and is sweating as he is performing a deadlift exercise with a barbell and a few weights plates on each side. He is working out in a warehouse themed gym where there are windows located behind and above him that is cause a cast of sunlight to come in.”
Once I have gotten the results that I was looking for, then for the second image all I had to do was add the additional prompt, “Now have him pick up the barbell.” Below are the two images ChatGPT provided me.

Phase 2 Kling AI:
Now that I have the start and end images, I log into Kling AI, go into their AI Video creation section, and use the Image to Video Frames feature. I upload the two image and use the following prompt, “Have the muscular pitbull perform a deadlift with the weights. Have the camera start off to the side of him and as he lifts the weights the camera will keep focus on him while moving and ending in front of him.”
Once it created the video I then took it into Epidemic Sound…
Phase 3 Epidemic Sound:
This part was the easiest step. I was able to use their AI feature by uploading the video and it provided me background music that it felt fit the overall look/feel of the video. I decided on one of the songs, downloaded the audio file, and then took to Adobe Premiere Rush (Phone app condensed version of Premiere Pro)
Phase 4 Adobe Premiere Rush:
Finally, I stitched the mp3 and video files together and adding a camera recording visual effect to the footage.
Here’s the final product:

Here is a cartoon animation that I created in Vyond that covers, at a high level, my background as a Learning Experience Designer.
